What the studio is
Ocean Dweller Media is a one-person software studio in the United States. It is a sole proprietorship: there is no company behind it, no investors and no staff. The person who designs an app is the person who builds it, tests it, answers support mail and is responsible for its privacy commitments.
The name is the umbrella over work that has, until now, been published one project at a time. The apps keep their own names and their own sites; this one exists so that someone who finds one of them can see the rest, and so that every site can say plainly who is behind it.
What it makes
Most of the work starts from the same observation: the record of a person's life is scattered across services that will not outlive them, and the questions that matter most, from a doctor's intake form to a quiet worry about who you were around last week, are answered from memory when they could be answered from evidence that already exists.
Human Memory gathers what is already on your phone and keeps it in a vault there, and Exposure Radar keeps your places and vitals on your iPhone too. When a model is involved, as in PlantAdvocate's care advice, it is handed cited facts and told to answer only from them. When something has to leave your device, the app's privacy policy says what leaves and who receives it.

How the work is run
Small, slowly and in public where it counts. The apps go to testers through TestFlight before they reach the App Store, and each has its own automated test suite. The sites are revised when the software changes; if a page describes something the current build does not do, write and say so. Writing to the support address reaches the person who designs the apps and is responsible for them.
Who is responsible
Ocean Dweller Media is the studio name of Allison Bowman, a sole proprietor in the United States. Apps are published on the App Store under that same name as the seller, and that is the responsible party for each app, for the sites and for their privacy commitments. There is no postal address on this site; the way to reach the studio is support@human-memory.ai.
